Common House Chattanooga, originally built in 1929 as a YMCA, was completely restored by Parks in 2021. The $8.4 million dollar project included the renovation and restoration of the nearly 40,000 square foot space that services as Chattanooga’s newest gathering spot and social club. Located in Chattanooga’s Southside, Common House offers a number of amenities like fine dining options, co-working spaces, outdoor pools, childcare, dining, a gym and a podcast studio. This project required working closely with the architect and designers to maintain the historical integrity of the property including many original features and woodworking seen throughout the space.
